Shoe Technology
Upper: GORE-TEX fabric with recycled materials keeps your feet dry and comfortable. Leather Working Group gold-rated waterproof nubuck leather. PFC-Free water repellency treatment. Quick hook lace. Recycled polyester materials in the collar, mesh and laces. Molded PU sockliner made from 50% soybean oil.
Midsole: 30% Sugarcane EVA midsole provides a balanced and cushioned ride. HUBBLE? heel and SwallowTail? geometry offer soft landings. Late Stage Meta-Rocker technology delivers smooth transitions.
Outsole: Vibram? Megagrip rubber with 5mm lugs provide reliable traction on off-road surfaces.

Very impressed with the comfort and support. Handled rocky terrain well and kept my feet dry in light rain. Only wish they came in more color options.
As a beginner hiker, these have been perfect. Good support without being too stiff. The cushioning really helps on downhill sections. Breaking in was quick and painless.
